A leading company is looking for a Business Developer to enhance the strategic growth of high-end interior and construction projects. This role involves market research, developing proposals, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in the construction industry, particularly heritage-focused projects, and skills in negotiation and communication.
Objective
The primary objective of this position is to contribute to the strategic growth of both
Nafees World and Diyar Najd by identifying, developing, and securing new business
opportunities in the fields of high-end interior projects and traditional heritage-style
construction. The Business Developer will serve as a key liaison between the companies
and the market, delivering integrated design, construction, and maintenance solutions to
high-profile clients, including private sector investors and government entities.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities
within the target sectors.
• Develop, present, and negotiate customized proposals for clients such as
developers, consultants, government bodies, and private investors.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with real estate
developers, project owners, procurement officers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate with design, technical, and execution teams to ensure that client
proposals are technically viable and aligned with internal capabilities.
• Lead the preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposals
(RFPs) in collaboration with internal departments.
• Represent both companies at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry
networking events.
• Monitor market trends, track competitor activity, and analyze pricing strategies to
maintain a competitive edge.
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business
Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: At least seven (7) years of professional experience in business
development or sales within the interior design, fit-out, or construction industry
(preferably heritage-focused).
• Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Saudi real estate and construction
markets, including government contracting processes (e.g., Salmani architectural
guidelines, Vision 2030 initiatives, and MOMRA regulations).
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent
communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Knowledge of AutoCAD or project planning
software is an asset.
• Personal Attributes: Professional demeanor, self-motivated, culturally aware,
goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and in teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• An established professional network within the interior design, construction, or
luxury fit-out industries in Saudi Arabia.
• Prior experience in securing contracts with government agencies or working on
Giga projects (e.g., Diriyah, NEOM, Qiddiya).
• Knowledge of traditional Najdi architecture and its contemporary applications.
