Job description

Who Are We
We Are Foodics! a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider. Founded in 2014 with headquarter in Riyadh and offices across 5 countries, including UAE, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait. We are currently serving customers and partners in over 35 different countries worldwide. Our innovative products have successfully processed over 6 billion (yes, billion with a B) orders so far! making Foodics one of the most rapidly evolving SaaS companies to ever emerge from the MENA region. Also Foodics has achieved three rounds of funding, with the latest raising $170 million in the largest SaaS funding round in MENA, boosting its innovation capabilities to better serve business owners. “Foodics Capital” is a micro-lending arm that offers loans to small F&B businesses, with the aim to revolutionize SME lending, through offering faster and more flexible lending options than most of such in the region.

The Job in a Nutshell

Foodics Capital is our innovative micro-lending arm, offering fast, flexible loan products tailored for small F&B businesses across the region. We are on a mission to revolutionize SME lending, and we’re looking for a data-savvy, commercially minded Business Analyst to support this journey through research, insights, and execution.

In this role, you will act as the analytical backbone of the Foodics Capital team—digging deep into customer needs, running primary and secondary research, analyzing performance and market trends, and contributing to product and strategy decisions that ensure product-market fit and long-term success.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal—to ensure that every decision is backed by data and customer insight.

What Will You Do

  • Conduct in-depth customer interviews, run surveys, and gather direct feedback from F&B merchants to understand their pain points, financial behavior, and product needs. Use this data to shape lending strategies and user experience.
  • Analyze regional and international trends in micro-lending and SME finance. Track competitor offerings and regulatory developments to inform internal product improvements and positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Strategy teams to recommend enhancements to Foodics Capital based on operational data, research insights, and customer behavior.
  • Monitor key metrics around loan origination, utilization, repayment rates, and customer satisfaction. Generate regular reports and dashboards to support strategic decisions.
  • Support risk assessment processes through merchant analysis and financial review. Identify both risks and growth opportunities based on customer segments, usage patterns, and repayment behavior.
  • Act as a bridge between internal teams and external partners. Help align operational, financial, and marketing efforts with insights derived from research and data analysis.
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning by validating target segments, crafting customer personas, and advising on messaging based on user research and testing.

What Are We Looking For

  • Passion for small business growth and fintech innovation, especially within the F&B ecosystem.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. (MBA or advanced degree is a plus.)
  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, research, or product analytics—ideally within fintech, lending, or financial services.
  • Strong hands-on experience in conducting customer interviews, usability studies, and qualitative research.
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI dashboards) and research techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and collaborate across teams.

  • We have an inclusive and diverse culture that encourages innovation and flexibility.
  • We offer highly competitive compensation packages, including bonuses and the potential for shares.
  • We prioritize personal development and offer regular training and an annual learning stipend to tackle new challenges and grow your career in a hyper-growth environment.
  • Join a talented team of over 30 nationalities working in 14 countries, and gain valuable experience in an exciting industry.
  • We offer autonomy, mentoring, and challenging goals that create incredible opportunities for both you and the company.
