Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Downstream Digital Transformation Division (DSDT).

The DSDT supports the digital capabilities within the Downstream Admin Areas.

Your primary role involves detailing all business requirements for downstream digital solutions. You will actively participate in solution design stages, contribute to ideation, design sprints, and user interviews. Your responsibilities include synthesizing information and end-user requirements to define features and functionalities, assisting in designing target customer journeys, and acting as a Project Management Office and steering committee for digital projects. You will also identify synergies between different digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Identify and document business requirements for downstream digital solutions.
  • Participate in solution ideation, design sprints, and user interviews to gather and synthesize information.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and existing solutions in the market.
  • Assist the product owner in detailing features and user stories for digital solutions, ensuring they are well-prepared for design and development.
  • Translate end-user requirements into features and functionalities, documenting them in industry-standard formats.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure user stories are ready for design and development.
Minimum Requirements

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized program.

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas downstream sector, including at least 10 years in developing digital solutions.
