Business Analyst

Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the senior manager in financial modelling, budgeting, and market analysis. This position is responsible for preparing detailed reports and analyses, assisting in financial forecasting, and providing market intelligence for future projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the senior manager in developing financial models for investment purposes and support in creating financial budgets for the department.
2. Prepare comprehensive reports and analyses from complex financial data and business reports.
3. Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
4. Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
5. Provide market intelligence for future projects and coordinate with departments like Finance and Engineering for managing future expenses and payments.
6. Prepare presentations, reports, and graphs as per instructions.
7. Determine financial metrics and benchmarks based on market data.
8. Prepare and review the department's budget and cash flows, including feasibility studies.
9. Perform other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Line Manager to meet organizational objectives.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Timely completion of all assigned tasks as per the deadlines set by the Head of the Department.
2. Effective handling and management of crucial tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience.
3. Experience in using Microsoft Power BI, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
4. Experience in a similar role.
5. Proficiency in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
