The BA will bridge domain experts and engineering teams to deliver a spectrum of projects from AI model integrations and predictive analytics to standard enterprise dashboards, web applications, and system integration work. Reporting to the Technical Program Manager, you will leverage strong visual design skills and active listening to translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable software requirements and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Conduct interviews and workshops with business owners, engineers, and data scientists to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
- Use active listening to distill complex needs for AI pipelines, dashboards, or REST APIs into precise documentation.
Documentation & Visualization- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, ER diagrams, UI wireframes, and functional specs.
- Create mock-ups and prototypes (using Figma or similar) for AI-enabled features and traditional software modules.
Backlog & Release Management- Maintain and prioritize a combined AI/software backlog including data prep, UI enhancements, API endpoints, and integration tasks.
- Lead backlog grooming sessions for clarity and feasibility in sprints.
Cross-Team Collaboration- Partner with AI engineers, Data Scientists, developers, QA, DevOps, and data teams to validate solutions and ensure requirements are met.
Stakeholder Facilitation- Act as liaison between waterfall stakeholders and agile teams to maintain scope, timelines, and quality.
- Present artifacts and progress updates through visually engaging dashboards.
Required Skills & Experience
- BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst on technical projects including software development, AI solutions, dashboards, and data integration, preferably in Oil & Gas or similar industries.
- Proven ability to manage and align stakeholders toward project goals.
- Strong visualization skills using Visio/Lucidchart, Figma/Sketch, Power BI/Tableau.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills; ability to translate stakeholder needs into software requirements.
- Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, backlog grooming, sprint planning.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases, frontend frameworks (React, Angular), and basic DevOps practices.
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, SQL, and scripting (Python/JavaScript).
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Eligibility to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI PBA, or Scrum Product Owner.
- Experience with RAG frameworks, MLOps, cloud SDKs.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
