Job description

Routine Maintenance:

• Check the vehicle regularly and carry out temporary repairs if some distance away from a garage or workshop to ensure the vehicle is in good running condition.
• Take the vehicle to the service workshop for non-routine maintenance or repair.

Policies & Procedures:

• Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Audit compliance with operational procedures and instructions.

Safety, Quality & Environment:

• Follow all relevant safety, quality, and environmental control procedures to ensure personal and others' safety, and maintain product/service quality and environmental standards.
• Audit compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures and instructions.
• Monitor the frequency of lost time incidents, safety incidents, and near misses.

Traffic Regulations:

• Drive the vehicle safely, abiding by all traffic laws and regulations of the Kingdom, and complying with company safety regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and goods.
• Monitor infractions of laws or company policies, rules, and regulations.

Cost Effectiveness:

• Select routes that are cost-effective in terms of time, fuel efficiency, and vehicle running costs.
• Monitor operating and running costs against budgets.

Vehicle Registration:

• Keep track of vehicle license expiry dates and ensure all heavy vehicles are properly licensed for operation in KSA.

Transportation:

• Transport people or light goods to various locations using light vehicles such as cars or minibuses to meet business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.

Routine Maintenance (Light Vehicles):

• Check light vehicles daily and perform simple routine maintenance or repairs, such as tire changes and oil replenishment, to keep vehicles in good condition.
• Take vehicles to the workshop for non-routine maintenance or repairs.

Additional Requirements:

• Possession of a bus driving license.
• Knowledge of health and safety systems.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
