Job Description

Job Purpose: The Business Sales Manager (BSM) acts as the primary conduit between the corporate merchant team and the customer, ensuring a seamless customer experience aligned with the company's vision while effectively driving sales. The BSM owns their brand/categories of business and is responsible for providing product solutions, training, and scalable business to all the sub-GTM (Go-To-Market) channels through managing, mentoring, and developing a cross-functional sales team. They are expected to lead, problem-solve, and think proactively.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain cordial relationships with vendors, ensure vendor objectives and strategies are aligned, serve as a source of Business Intelligence to vendors, negotiate win-win deals, and formulate and implement returns processes to safeguard partner and company interests.
  2. Customer Relations Management: Engage with customers regularly, understand their needs, provide solutions, address issues through relevant stakeholders.
  3. Inventory Management: Plan inventory and sell-out strategies, maintain optimal inventory levels without blocking excessive cash flow, make decisions to move slow-moving inventory at appropriate times, and optimize inventory and accounts receivable in the market.
  4. Maintain a balanced product mix to optimize margins and meet demand.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders, comply with the requirements of various bodies, cooperate with stakeholders while safeguarding organizational and customer interests.
  6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory and vendor requirements.
  7. Channel Expansion: Increase channel breadth and activate existing customers who have not been billed.
  8. Data Management and Analysis: Maintain sales records, analyze data, present findings to senior management, and strategize accordingly.
  9. Market Intelligence: Gather information about competitors to inform planning.
  10. OEM Engagement: Engage OEMs for pricing support, marketing activities, and ensure timely claims.
  11. Receivables Follow-up: Monitor product sales receivables to prevent overdue invoices.
  12. Marketing Activities: Plan and execute marketing initiatives to facilitate sales.
  13. Record Keeping: Maintain proper records of sales, inventory, receivables, and credit limits.

Qualifications

  • University degree or relevant commercial training and professional development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
