The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance brand awareness, positioning, and market presence. They oversee marketing campaigns, product messaging, and fans engagement to ensure brand consistency and growth. The role involves analyzing market trends, managing brand partnerships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive brand success and customer loyalty.
Brand Strategy & Identity
- Develop and execute the club’s brand strategy to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Maintain the club’s visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging across all marketing materials.
- Ensure that all content, campaigns, and sponsorships align with the club’s core values and brand positioning.
Fan Engagement & Brand Loyalty
- Build and strengthen the emotional connection between fans and the club’s brand.
- Develop initiatives that enhance fan loyalty, pride, and advocacy.
- Oversee membership and loyalty programs, ensuring they align with brand positioning.
Sponsorship & Partnerships Activation
- Work with sponsors and partners to ensure brand alignment in marketing campaigns.
- Develop branded content and activations that integrate partners while maintaining the club’s identity.
- Measure the effectiveness of sponsorship activations to maximize brand impact.
Merchandise & Licensing
- Oversee the branding of official merchandise, ensuring it aligns with club identity.
- Work with licensing partners to expand the club’s brand reach through co-branded products.
- Develop marketing strategies to drive merchandise sales and fan engagement.
Marketing Campaigns & Storytelling
- Create and manage brand-led marketing campaigns for ticketing, memberships, merchandise, and international expansion.
- Develop storytelling strategies that highlight the club’s heritage, achievements, and fan culture.
- Ensure all campaigns reinforce the club’s premium and prestigious image.
Digital & Social Media Branding
- Ensure social media content reflects the club’s brand image and tone of voice.
- Oversee branded video content, match promotions, and fan engagement activations.
- Work with the digital marketing team to align branding across all online platforms.
Stadium & Matchday Branding
- Ensure stadium branding, signage, and fan experiences align with the club’s identity.
- Manage matchday activations, ensuring a premium and immersive brand experience.
- Oversee the use of branding in matchday sponsorships, promotions, and fan experiences.
International Expansion & Global Branding
- Develop strategies to expand the club’s presence in international markets.
- Work on collaborations, brand partnerships, and global campaigns to increase fanbase growth.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and market adaptability while maintaining brand integrity.
Brand Performance & Analytics
- Measure brand awareness, perception, and fan sentiment using surveys and analytics tools.
- Monitor the impact of marketing and branding efforts using KPIs and reporting metrics.
- Use insights to refine and optimize future brand strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or product management.
- Strong understanding of market research, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
- Experience in developing and executing brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
