Job description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Bonded Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our state-of-the-art bonded warehouse facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, building and leading a high-performing team, develop best operational practices and standard operation procedure, maintaining the QHSE standard, management of the profit and loss (P&L), and maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Operations Management:

- Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

- Implement and optimize processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.

- Ensure the warehouse meets all safety and security requirements.

2. Team Development:

- Build, train, and lead a skilled team of warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.

- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team competencies and knowledge of industry standards.

- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

3. Financial Management:

- Manage and oversee the warehouse’s P&L, ensuring profitability and cost control.

- Develop budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

4. Regulatory Relations:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, implementing necessary changes to warehouse operations.

5. Client Development:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote warehouse capabilities and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in bonded zone management.
• Proven experience in team leadership, financial management, and client relations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
