Job description

Qiddiya is a pioneering development located just outside Riyadh, designed to become Saudi Arabia’s leading destination for entertainment, sports, and culture. As part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative, the project aims to diversify the economy and enhance quality of life through large-scale, sustainable infrastructure and unique visitor experiences. Spanning over 360 square kilometers, Qiddiya will feature everything from a Formula 1-grade motor racing circuit and major sports venues to theme parks, performance spaces, and nature-based attractions. The scale and complexity of the project offer professionals a rare opportunity to contribute to one of the largest and most ambitious urban developments in the world. We are building more than a leisure destination — we are creating a new economic sector and community from the ground up. With construction underway and key milestones approaching, we’re hiring talent across multiple disciplines to help bring this vision to life. If you’re looking to work on projects that combine innovation, scale, and long-term national impact, Qiddiya presents a unique career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the implementation and governance of BIM strategies across all design and construction stages, ensuring alignment with the client’s project delivery objectives.

· Develop, review, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Exchange’s Information Requirements (EIRs) in accordance with project-specific goals and contractual obligations.

· Oversee consultants’ and contractors’ BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with client standards, ISO 19650, and industry best practices.

· Facilitate and monitor model coordination processes, including chairing coordination meetings and reviewing clash detection reports to ensure timely conflict resolution.

· Utilize platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and Revizto for issue management, model validation, and progress tracking across multiple work packages.

· Drive 4D and 5D BIM integration, collaborating with planning and commercial teams to support cost forecasting, change tracking, and performance analytics through dashboard development.

· Provide regular updates to project management and executive teams via BIM health checks, progress dashboards, and milestone reviews.

· Support digital handover and asset readiness by managing the delivery of COBie data and ensuring alignment with facilities management requirements.

· Champion BIM adoption across all project stakeholders, facilitating onboarding, training, and consistent alignment with the client’s digital vision.

· Define and implement comprehensive BIM strategies that support organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.

· Set up and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) for effective information sharing and collaboration across the project lifecycle.

· Act as a liaison between design consultants, contractors, and the client to ensure project efficiency and effective communication.

· Perform quality assurance checks and identify defects in tools and workflows, supporting continuous improvement in digital delivery.

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline; BIM certification or postgraduate specialization is preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the AEC industry with progressive responsibility in BIM management roles.

· Proven experience in large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably on the client-side or within a consultancy environment.

· In-depth understanding of BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650, digital project delivery frameworks, and full lifecycle BIM applications.

· Proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, ACC, Revizto, and Power BI for dashboard reporting and analytics.

· Strong experience managing consultants and contractors, with a demonstrated ability to enforce standards, assess compliance, and lead coordination processes.

· Prior experience in high-profile sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, or hospitality is highly desirable.

· Demonstrated capability in developing scalable automation tools for model validation, rapid design reviews, and compliance checking.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

· Ability to manage workloads effectively, adapt to change, and make data-driven decisions.

· Bonus: Familiarity with Digital Twins, database integration, and cloud-based platforms such as Autodesk Tandem.
