BIM Project Manager

Monitor and validate BIM progress and quality

• Ensure development and compliance with the approved BIM project Execution Plan
• Ensure the quality of all BIM-related documents with proper review
• Revise and submit PXP when there is outdated information
• Keep the model development ahead of all construction works to prevent abortive works
• Develop, coordinate, publish, and verify that all necessary configurations for seamless integration of design and construction model information are implemented
• Ensure design deliverables are provided in accordance with specified formats
• Coordinate BIM file exchange and archiving of milestone submittals
• Ensure information is provided at milestone submittals and for the contractor
• Ensure proper BIM-derived 2D information for paper printing, conforming to CAD standards
• Coordinate with the builder to create proper BIM final deliverables
• Classify all spaces and equipment in the model for proper comparison with the MFD

Organizing and guiding the projects in the BIM process

• Facilitate the use of composite design models in coordination and clash detection meetings, providing detection reports and resolving collisions
• Ensure models are used appropriately to test design requirements and functionality
• Facilitate BIM technical meetings with lead BIM Technicians
• Handle customer-facing topics (sales) where escalation is necessary

Identify significant issues and geometric clashes during the project lifecycle.

Create an overview of contractual system requirements to compare and add to BEP.
