CCL Global is seeking for a Bid Manager to be based in Al Khobar for a full-time role.
candidates with Saudi transferable Iqama are preferred.
Role Purpose
The Bid Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end bid and proposal process, ensuring the delivery of compliant, high-quality, and timely proposals. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills to engage with multiple stakeholders, align with company standards, and drive successful bid outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive proposal plans, ensuring alignment with customer timelines and requirements.
- Chair and facilitate bid kick-off meetings to define strategy, roles, and deliverables.
- Approve scopes of work and ensure they reflect both client requirements and internal capabilities.
- Analyze contract requirements, contractual terms, and conditions for compliance and risk.
- Manage stakeholder and partner interactions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the bid lifecycle.
- Negotiate and establish pre-bid agreements with partners, subcontractors, and clients where applicable.
- Coordinate and integrate inputs from contributors across technical, commercial, legal, and operational teams into cohesive and compelling proposal packages.
- Review and validate contributions from multiple stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with senior management to provide bid status updates, highlight risks, and support decision-making.
- Oversee document management, including maintaining and updating proposal templates and ensuring documents are aligned with company branding and style guides.
- Drive continuous improvement in bid processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and quality.
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in managing large, complex bids and proposals from initiation to submission.
- Strong knowledge of bid management methodologies, compliance frameworks, and contractual processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and client-focused documents.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, including experience working with senior executives, clients, and partners.
- High attention to detail with a structured and process-driven approach.
- Proficiency in document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and proposal development tools.
Qualifications / Attributes
- Degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional accreditation in bid/proposal management (e.g., APMP Practitioner or equivalent) desirable.
