Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of interactive dashboards and visualizations, ensuring insights are actionable and user-centric.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams, driving seamless integration of BI solutions with data warehouses and lakes.
• Manage SQL query development and ETL pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust data models tailored to complex business requirements.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to uphold data integrity standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI solution performance, addressing issues related to data latency, visualization accuracy, or system errors.
• Document BI processes, data models, and reporting standards to ensure maintainability and scalability.

Qualifications & Attributes

We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in a BI Engineer or Data Analyst role, preferably within technology-driven or data-centric industries.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Looker, and Qlik.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.
• Solid programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Expertise in building and maintaining ETL processes.

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
