Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our Ready Mix Concrete and Asphalt Production Plants in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, logistics, safety compliance, and team leadership. Experience in managing both plants concurrently and a deep understanding of Saudi market dynamics are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day operations of both ready mix and asphalt plants, ensuring efficient production and dispatch.
2. Ensure all production meets required specifications and quality standards (ACI, ASTM, BS EN, MOT).
3. Coordinate plant schedules with project demands to ensure timely delivery to multiple construction sites.
4. Monitor material stock levels and coordinate procurement to maintain uninterrupted operations.
5. Supervise and manage plant staff, including operators, drivers, technicians, and maintenance teams.
6. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
7. Implement preventive maintenance plans for batching and asphalt mixing equipment.
8. Optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and control production costs.
9. Maintain accurate production records, inventory reports, and KPI dashboards.
10. Review and approve mix designs, and ensure consistent output quality.
11. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and government bodies on operational matters.
12. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in productivity and plant efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Ready Mix and Asphalt Plant operations, with 5+ years in a managerial role.
3. Strong knowledge of mix design, materials testing, and batching plant software (e.g., Command Alkon, SIMMA, MARINI, Ammann).
4. Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale plant operations.
5. Understanding of Saudi Arabian regulations and specifications, including MOT, RC, and SEC standards.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.
7. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
