Job Description
  1. Prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
  2. Be fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes.
  3. Upsell with each customer to maximize sales.
  4. Provide high-quality, personalized, efficient, and friendly service.
  5. Prepare mise en place and perform side duties.
  6. Collect all requisitions for food and beverages.
  7. Adhere to opening and closing procedures and check beverage stock.
  8. Understand all beverage items and prepare garnishes accordingly.
  9. Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times.
  10. Monitor supplies to reduce spoilage and wastage.
  11. Handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  12. Establish rapport with guests and maintain good customer relationships.
  13. Perform cashiering functions according to outlet procedures.
  14. Display premium liquors properly with defined quantities.
  15. Have garnishes ready for cocktails upon opening.
  16. Train new recruits through on-the-job training.
  17. Assist in training staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
  18. Conduct inventory of equipment periodically.
  19. Report punctually in proper uniform, maintaining personal hygiene and appearance.
  20. Provide courteous, professional service at all times.
  21. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
  22. Follow hotel policies, safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  23. Comply with local legislation.
  24. Adapt to departmental changes as needed.
  25. Perform additional duties within job capability, including redeployment if required.
  26. Attend training and meetings as scheduled.
