Job Description
  1. To prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
  2. To be fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes.
  3. To upsell with each customer to enhance sales.
  4. To provide high-quality, personalized, efficient, and friendly service.
  5. To prepare mise en place and perform side duties.
  6. To collect all requisitions related to food and beverages.
  7. To adhere strictly to opening and closing procedures and check beverage stock.
  8. To understand and know all beverage items and prepare garnishes accordingly.
  9. To keep the bar counter and surrounding area clean and organized.
  10. To monitor supplies, reduce spoilage, and minimize wastage.
  11. To handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  12. To establish rapport with guests and maintain good customer relationships.
  13. To perform cashiering functions following outlet procedures.
  14. To ensure proper presentation of premium liquors on shelves with appropriate quantities.
  15. To prepare garnishes for cocktails in advance.
  16. To coach and train new recruits through on-the-job training.
  17. To perform duties in the Banqueting Department or other areas as assigned.
  18. To assist in training staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
  19. To participate in inventory checks of equipment periodically.
  20. To arrive punctually in uniform, maintaining high personal hygiene and appearance standards.
  21. To provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
  22. To foster good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
  23. To understand and adhere to the hotel’s Employee Handbook, policies, and safety regulations.
  24. To comply with local legislation as required.
  25. To adapt to departmental changes and assist with additional duties as needed.
  26. To attend training and meetings as required.
