Job summary

Noir KSA in Riyadh is seeking a Junior Barista to join our luxury cafe team. This entry-level role focuses on developing core barista skills, keeping the coffee station clean, and delivering high-quality beverages with friendly service.

The position is Full-time, on-site at Umm Al Hamam, Riyadh, offering a monthly salary of 2,000–2,500 SAR plus a free duty meal, shared accommodation, and transportation to and from work. Previous coffee experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience working as a barista or in a fast-paced specialty coffee environment.
• Basic knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming techniques and a passion for learning about coffee origins and flavor profiles.

Responsibilities

• Craft Quality Beverages: Prepare a full range of specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews according to brand standards and recipes.
• Dial In & Extract: Adjust grind size, dose, and extraction variables daily to maintain optimal coffee flavor throughout your shift.
• Milk Texturing & Latte Art: Steam dairy and plant-based milks to perfect microfoam temperature and pour presentable latte art.
• Signature Drinks & Mocktails: Prepare non-alcoholic signature drinks and mocktails using fresh ingredients and house-made syrups.
• Maintain Hygiene & Food Safety: Follow HACCP principles, monitor ingredient temperatures, prevent allergen cross-contamination, and complete daily safety logs.
• Bar Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the bar clean, backflush espresso machines, sanitize tools, and execute deep-cleaning procedures.
• Inventory & Opening/Closing: Rotate stock using FIFO, track shelf life, and complete thorough opening and closing shift checklists.
