Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies, following standardized recipes.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and seasonal beverage offerings.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and upselling as appropriate.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the barista station, service areas, and seating zones.
- Monitor inventory of coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies; inform supervisor of restocking needs.
- Comply with hygiene, health, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Handle cash, credit card, or room charge transactions accurately.
- Assist in training new team members on barista duties and service standards.
- Support other F&B service areas as needed during peak hours or special events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; barista training or certification is a plus.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a barista or café service role.
