Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive cafe atmosphere.

1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, and specialty drinks
2. Greet customers warmly and take orders with accuracy and efficiency
3. Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
4. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
5. Keep the cafe area clean, organized, and well-stocked
6. Educate customers about coffee products, brewing methods, and menu items
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations during peak hours
8. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
9. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
10. Assist in training new team members as needed

Qualifications

1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role
2. Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, busy environment
3. Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
4. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
6. Excellent attention to detail in drink preparation and cafe cleanliness
7. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management
8. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
10. Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for creating exceptional customer experiences
11. Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
12. Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
