A leading company is seeking a qualified Barge Engineer (Second Engineer) for a shore-based position in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee barge operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational efficiency. Candidates must hold a degree in Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering and possess specific maritime certifications, along with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role.

BARGE ENGINEER (Second Engineer)
Landbased / Shore-based position
Qualifications:
• Must be a qualified Second Engineer to fit the job.
• Has Excellent knowledge of Marine Operations and has operational knowledge and technical skill as well as being able to understand the barge /shore interface.
• Oversee barge reliability and safe operations and providing daily operational guideline to direct report and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Compliance to class survey (ABS)
• Degree in Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering with valid documentation, with atleast two years experience as Second Engineer.
• STCW certificates,
• Certificate of Competency/Proficiency,
• Seaman Book,
• Training & Experience Certificates
• Passport
• Qualification: STCW III/2, STCW VI/1
• Must have valid MARLIN English Test Certificate or equivalent maritime English proficiency
• Nationality: Any
• Age: not older than 50 years old with exemption
• Oil and Chemical tanker experience will be an added advantage.
• Well spoken and written English 1010
• Well familiar with technical support.
• Well familiar with knowledge management.
• Well familiar with unmanned diesel barges.
