Working as a Bar Attendant at an international luxury hotel involves a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Here's an overview of the day-to-day activities you might expect:

Morning Routine

Opening Procedures: Start the day by setting up the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use.

Inventory Check: Review stock levels of beverages, mixers, and supplies. Report any shortages to the Bar Supervisor.

Service

Beverage Preparation: Assist in preparing a range of drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages, under the guidance of the bartender.

Serving Guests: Serve drinks to guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.

Customer Interaction

Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.

Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from guests to continuously improve the quality of beverages and service.

Maintenance

Equipment Care: Regularly clean and maintain bar equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

Workstation Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the day.

Team Coordination: Work closely with bartenders and other bar staff to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service.

Event Support: Assist with special events and functions, providing bar service as needed.

Administrative Tasks

Inventory Management: Help keep track of inventory levels and assist in managing orders to ensure a steady supply of ingredients and supplies.

Documentation: Assist in maintaining records of recipes, production schedules, and inventory.

Evening Wrap-Up

Closing Procedures: Clean and sanitize the bar area and equipment. Ensure everything is in order for the next day.

Review and Plan: Reflect on the day's work, review any feedback received, and plan for the next day's tasks.

Working as a Bar Attendant in a luxury hotel is both dynamic and customer-focused, requiring a blend of technical skill, excellent customer service, and attention to detail.

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration

• Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role

• International luxury hotel chain background

• English Fluency is required

• Arabic Fluency is preferred

This may involve taking on additional responsibilities as needed, especially during periods of high occupancy or in emergency situations.
