Job description

A Banqueting Chef is responsible for managing and training the banqueting kitchen team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while managing food cost controls.

What will I be doing?

As a Banqueting Chef, you will be responsible for managing and training the banqueting kitchen team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also manage food cost controls. Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Manage and train the banqueting kitchen team
• Ensure consistency and quality of dishes
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, Health and Safety, and stock procedures
• Manage resources effectively through working rotas
• Support brand standards via team training and assessment
• Control food costs to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
• Lead the kitchen brigade to ensure a well-organized, motivated team
• Understand activities in other departments and their implications
