About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, leading the development of mission-critical microservices and backend APIs that power our core payment platform.

What You'll Do

1. Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS
2. Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka
3. Manage and optimize data storage with MongoDB and Redis
4. Architect and maintain microservices in a distributed system
5. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit & integration tests)
6. Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and performance tuning
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features and enhancements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS
• Hands-on experience with Kafka in a microservices architecture
• Solid experience with MongoDB and Redis
• Strong testing mindset with experience writing unit and integration tests
• Understanding of microservice patterns and event-driven design
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and scalable cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit
• Experience in fintech, payments, or e-commerce is a plus
