Job Description

Purpose: The role holder provides technical expertise in customer solution design related to IoT solutions across multiple markets. Responsible for advising on operational processes to minimize risks, in accordance with business policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, monitor, and optimize architecture components for IoT applications, ensuring compliance with the Enterprise Architect framework.
2. Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture to align with STC technology strategy and roadmap.
3. Evaluate gaps between current and future states; define transition strategies.
4. Assess technical blueprint designs considering capabilities and constraints.
5. Support testing programs for solutions, including database impacts and usability.
6. Recommend changes to high-level solution designs to meet business needs.
7. Design and implement services like network configurations, VPNs, hosting, and database systems.
8. Review existing infrastructure to identify improvements.
9. Forecast capacity needs for networks, storage, servers, and security infrastructure.
10. Develop cloud computing strategies aligned with business requirements.
11. Integrate cloud infrastructure into existing operations.
12. Ensure technology compliance and provide customer-centric designs.
13. Maintain awareness of technological developments to inform projects.

Experience & Skills

8-10 years in network design within telecommunications or technology sectors.
Knowledge of telecommunication regulations, data analysis, application design principles, security, and data processing.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications; Master's preferred. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
