The Role

  • Technical and product support primarily of Avionics related products.
  • This position includes technical support (troubleshooting) spares availability, technical documentation, and all related activities to comply with customer operations.
  • Awareness of wider business opportunities.
  • Coordinate necessary actions to fix customer support issues.
  • Highlight any business / customer satisfaction issues and opportunities.
  • Complete and comprehensive product knowledge and services.
  • Improved customer satisfaction by gathering, understanding, acting on and positively influencing customer metrics.
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with other enterprises.
  • Responsible for driving and influencing product improvements, idea generation and creating business opportunities.
  • Driving force / integral member of customer core team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline plus eight years of directly related experience, or in lieu of a formal education, fourteen years of directly related experience which yields an equivalent level of knowledge and abilities
  • Has the necessary investigative skills to understand and identify potential problems and associated liabilities.
  • Able to read / understand / interpret technical documents.
  • Tolerant of ambiguity, adaptable to change.
  • Self-managing, self-motivated, innovative, exercises initiative.
  • Willingness to travel overseas
