Job description

Job Title: Aviation Audit Manager

Job Location: Any Nationality

Vacancy: 1 Vacancy

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Establish, document, develop and manage the Quality System and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and business needs.
  2. Identify business process risks within the area being audited.
  3. Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls.
  4. Document and control the quality records.
  5. Support the development and improvement of the QMS.
  6. Develop recommendations and reports based on audits.
  7. Plan and allocate resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules.
  8. Develop professional development procedures for direct reports.
  9. Organize and distribute resources and manpower in harmony with abilities and schedules.
  10. Produce reports that outline problems and provide prospective workarounds.
  11. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for audits.
  12. Ensure health and safety of themselves, company assets, and others.
  13. Cooperate with the QHSE department and attend required training.
  14. Follow health and safety requirements of the workplace.
  15. Report any hazards in the workplace.
  16. Carry out duties in a resource-efficient way and actively support THC's Environmental Policy.
  17. Actively seek to reduce waste in the workplace or use environmentally friendly products.
  18. Promote and support environmental practices.
  19. Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching, or training to direct subordinates.
  20. Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.
  21. Ensure continuous monitoring of trends in the market and provide advice to management on potential initiatives.
  22. Support the execution of the overall strategic vision.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching, or training to direct subordinates.
  2. Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.
  3. Ensure continuous monitoring of trends in the market and provide advice to management on potential initiatives.
  4. Support the execution of the overall strategic vision.
  5. Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.

Experience & Skills:

  1. 7 years of experience in Auditing.
  2. Background knowledge in GACARs, Labor Law, and any relevant regulations.
  3. Working experience within the aviation field is advantageous.
  4. Ability to identify hazards, risks, perform risk assessment, and build safety cases.
  5. Adequate knowledge of safety standards and safety investigations.
  6. Possess good work habits, team-oriented, strong work ethics, and adhere to company work hours, policies, and standards of business etiquette.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in risk management, business management, aerospace engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. Certified Internal Auditor or any relevant certification is a plus.
  3. Certified Lead Auditor or any relevant certification is a plus.
