Each of the resort’s 210 sea-facing rooms provides immediate beach access, allowing guests to step out onto the sands of the Red Sea from the terrace. Moreover, the resort features seven different gastronomic experiences, sprawling pools and recreational facilities, a spa, a health club, and curated meeting and events spaces for leisure, business travelers, and groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Set up, operate, and dismantle audio, video, lighting, and projection equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other hotel events.
  2. Coordinate with event planners, banquet teams, and clients to understand AV needs and ensure smooth execution.
  3. Operate equipment including microphones, mixers, speakers, projectors, LED screens, video conferencing systems, cameras, and lighting controls.
  4. Provide technical support during live events, including troubleshooting sound, video, or lighting issues on the spot.
  5. Ensure all AV equipment is in good working condition through regular maintenance, testing, and cleaning.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or certification in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as an AV technician, preferably in a hotel or event venue.
  3. Proficient in using AV systems such as mixers, amplifiers, wireless microphones, video switchers, projectors, LED panels, and lighting consoles.
  4. Knowledge of network-based AV systems, video conferencing tools (Zoom, MS Teams), and streaming platforms is a plus.
  5. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  7. Teamwork and Flexibility: In addition to the tasks outlined above, all team members are expected to demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative spirit. This may involve taking on additional responsibilities as needed, especially during periods of high occupancy or in emergency situations. Your willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the hotel is essential in maintaining our high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
