Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute Quarterly and Annual audit plans, including the identification of key risks and evaluation of internal controls. Create a detailed audit schedule for the quarter.
  2. Oversee the preparation of financial documents and ensure compliance with IAS and IFRS standards.
  3. Conduct thorough audits of internal controls, financial reporting, and compliance processes to assess risk and operational efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations by external Auditor/Audit committee and follow up on corrective actions.
  6. Manage relationships with external auditors to ensure smooth coordination during audits and timely completion of financial statements.
  7. Coordinate responses to audit findings and facilitate discussions to resolve discrepancies.
  8. Prepare detailed financial reports with actionable recommendations for management, facilitating improvements in operational processes.
  9. Conduct internal audits and other special assignments as required by management.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  11. Review monthly financial statements and provide observations by every 15th.
  12. Audit project expenses and provide reports to management on project-wise profitability.
  13. Assist in monthly closure and analysis of monthly Trial Balance.

Required Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with all IFRS and GAAP.
  2. Industry-Specific Knowledge: Understanding of EPC project lifecycle, cost drivers, and risks.
  3. Communication Skills: Ability to present Audit report and insights effectively to management.
  4. Excellent Knowledge: MS Office, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
  5. ERP: Oracle, SAP, Navision.
