An AV Technician is responsible for setting up audio, video, and lighting that meet requirements to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.

What will I be doing?

As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up audio, video, and lighting that meet requirements to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to meet guest requirements. Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Setting up audio, video, and lighting as required
• Troubleshooting technical issues, identifying faults, and offering remedies during events
• Collaborating closely with the Conference and Banqueting team
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
• Possessing knowledge of front of house equipment and property management systems
• Attending relevant training courses as needed
• Ensuring compliance with brand standards
• Assisting other departments and maintaining good working relationships
• Being environmentally conscious
