- Accurately document customer complaints, vehicle symptoms, and requested services in the job order system.
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services, repairs, and associated costs.
- Coordinate with technicians to diagnose vehicle issues and track service progress.
- Ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance work in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Conduct final vehicle walk-through with the customer, explaining services performed and addressing any additional questions.
- Promote preventive maintenance and additional services when appropriate to enhance vehicle performance and longevity.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate unresolved concerns to the service manager.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer service bulletins, recalls, and technical standards.
Skills
- Good knowledge of how cars work and common maintenance needs.
- Ability to understand and explain vehicle problems clearly.
