Position: Associate Production Specialist
Ecolab, a leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking an Associate Production Specialist. This role involves operating, preparing (mixing), filling, packaging, and tote washing. Candidates should be capable of performing tasks within the production department, excluding material handling, mixing, and bulk receiving/shipping.

Responsibilities
- Review instructions for preparing (mixing), filling, and packaging at the start of line runs. Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials, proper PPE, and adherence to safety procedures. Seek supervisor assistance if needed.
- Set up the line according to instructions, making adjustments as necessary or consulting supervisors or maintenance techs.
- Operate equipment such as fillers, labelers, pumps, filters, mixers, forklifts, cappers, tape machines, barcode printers, inkjet printers, hand tools, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to meet specifications.
- Perform all line operations, including loading containers, labeling, mixing, filling, capping, barcode generation, sampling, cleaning, and organizing.
- Participate in Kaizens, 5S, TPM, Loss Analysis, and special projects.
- Identify opportunities for waste elimination in systems and processes.
- Accurately document quality and productivity activities, including weight measurements and quality tests, either manually or digitally.
- Follow safety, quality, and production work instructions, memos, and SOPs.
- Report safety, quality, and equipment issues promptly.
- Complete packaging, mixing, and filling tasks efficiently, meeting or exceeding standards.
- Assist with line changeovers, including wash water collection.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a chemical plant or warehouse
- Basic English reading and writing skills
- Proficiency in basic math (including fractions, percentages, decimals)
- Forklift operation certification
- No immigration sponsorship available
- Physical ability to meet job requirements
Physical Demands
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Pass a drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in Hazardous Material Safety and DOT regulations
- Ability to track safety, quality, and productivity data
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with reaction chemistry
- Knowledge of Total Production Management (TPM) and Continuous Improvement
- Attention to detail, communication skills, teamwork
