Job description

Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking a Associate Production Specialist. This role is responsible for all aspects of operating, preparing (mixing), filling, packaging, and tote washing. Incumbents should be capable of performing any tasks within the production department, excluding material handling, mixing, and bulk receiving/shipping.

What You Will Do:

  • Review instructions for preparing (mixing), filling, and packaging at the start of line runs. Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials, PPE, and safety procedures. Seek assistance from a supervisor if needed.
  • Set up the line according to instructions, making adjustments or consulting supervisors or maintenance if necessary.
  • Operate equipment such as fillers, labelers, pumps, filters, mixers, forklifts, cappers, tape machines, bar coders, inkjet printers, hand tools, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to meet specifications.
  • Perform all line operations, including loading containers, labeling, mixing, filling, capping, coding, sampling, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Participate in Kaizens, 5S, TPM, Loss Analysis, and other projects to improve processes.
  • Identify opportunities for waste reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Document quality and productivity activities accurately, including weight measurements and quality tests.
  • Follow safety, quality, and production SOPs and work instructions.
  • Report safety issues, quality observations, and machine performance problems.
  • Complete packaging, mixing, and filling tasks meeting or exceeding standards.
  • Assist with line changeovers and wash water collection.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Position Details:

Location: Dammam, KSA

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a chemical plant or warehouse
  • Basic English reading and writing skills
  • Basic math skills including operations with fractions, percentages, and decimals
  • Forklift certification
  • No immigration sponsorship available
  • Ability to meet physical requirements

Physical Demands:

  • Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Pass a drug screening and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of safety and DOT training
  • Ability to monitor safety, quality, and productivity data
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with reaction chemistry
  • Knowledge of TPM and continuous improvement systems
  • Attention to detail, good communication, team-oriented
