The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project involves major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is currently providing programme management and is seeking high-caliber experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

The infrastructure procurement manager will oversee procurement activities for a large-scale infrastructure project. This role involves strategising, coordinating, and managing procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for the project's success.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement within the construction and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on large-scale projects and specific experience in Middle East government procurement processes. Ensuring strict adherence to company procurement processes and procedures is critical.

You'll Be Responsible For

• Procurement strategy and planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
• Create procurement plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.

You'll Need To Have

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive procurement experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role within construction or infrastructure industries.
• Necessary visa criteria for Saudi Arabia and relevant experience on high-value projects for project management consultancies.
• Proven large-scale procurement management skills.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CPM or CPSM are required.
