Job Summary:

The Associate Director - Social Media is responsible for developing and executing the organization's social media strategy across all platforms to enhance brand reputation, drive engagement, and support business objectives. This role oversees content creation, community management, analytics, and innovation to ensure a cohesive, impactful, and data-driven approach to social media. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global social media trends, platform algorithms, and audience engagement strategies while managing cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
  • Oversee content strategy, editorial planning, and execution across all major platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels).
  • Lead real-time and long-term content planning to maximize engagement, reach, and impact.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with corporate priorities, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Direct the creation of compelling, high-quality, and platform-optimized content, including visuals, videos, articles, and interactive media.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all platforms.
  • Work closely with creative teams, agencies, and production partners to develop engaging multimedia content.
  • Oversee influencer collaborations, executive social media strategies, and employee advocacy programs.
  • Lead community management strategies to foster meaningful engagement and conversations with key audiences.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience sentiment, and brand reputation, ensuring a proactive approach to issues management.
  • Develop social media crisis communication plans and protocols in collaboration with the corporate communications and PR teams.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry best practices in social engagement.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Leverage analytics tools to generate insights, optimize content strategies, and improve engagement rates.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on social media performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • A/B test content formats, posting schedules, and platform-specific tactics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with digital marketing teams and paid media teams to develop paid social media strategies that enhance organic efforts. Oversee media buying, audience targeting, and ad performance tracking to maximize ROI. Collaborate on integrated campaigns that combine organic and paid strategies for maximum reach.
  • Develop and oversee digital reporting dashboards that provide real-time and periodic insights into social media performance.
  • Provide executive reports with in-depth analysis of audience behavior, content performance, and social media impact on business objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience within the same or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or Business Administration.
