Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Project Controls to play a key role in our ambitious projects aimed at transforming entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing project control systems that ensure comprehensive monitoring, forecasting, and reporting on project performance. This position is vital to support the achievement of project objectives within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project control strategies, processes, and templates that align with overall project management procedures.
- Oversee all aspects of project controls including cost management, scheduling, and performance reporting.
- Monitor project progress, identify variances, and provide corrective action recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts to support project planning and execution.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with policies and standards across all project controls functions.
- Coordinate with various departments to collect, analyze, and disseminate project data to enhance decision-making.
- Lead risk management efforts related to project controls and support the identification and mitigation of potential cost and schedule impacts.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on best practices in project controls.
- Prepare and present regular project control reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls within the construction or real estate industry.
- Proven expertise in cost control, scheduling, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong leadership skills, with the capacity to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to project controls.
- Professional certifications in project management or project controls (e.g., PMP, CCP, or equivalent) are preferred.
