As Lendo continues to scale, we’re seeking a proactive and analytical Associate Director to strengthen our institutional investor relationships and support financing strategies. In this role, you’ll play a key part in capital-raising efforts by engaging with banks, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional partners.
Responsibilities
- Support in developing and executing capital-raising strategies targeting institutional investors, banks, asset managers, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Manage day-to-day investor engagement: preparing presentations, performance updates, and responding to due diligence requests.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating financing transactions (warehouse lines, sukuk issuances, securitizations, mezzanine facilities).
- Guide investors through the full cycle: from initial engagement to documentation, legalization, and contract signing.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, credit and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Monitor covenant compliance, investor reporting obligations, and risk retention requirements.
- Ensure activities align with CMA, SAMA, and international standards while respecting Shariah-compliant frameworks.
- Leverage financial and market data to support investor discussions and decision-making.
- Build, analyze, and present data dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Monitor investment performance, trends, and industry benchmarks (particularly in the mining and related sectors) to inform both internal strategy and external communications.
Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech financing.
- Strong background in financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and transaction analytics.
- Solid understanding of sukuk, securitization, and alternative credit structures.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with institutional investors and present complex financial information clearly.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL/Python, or BI tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or FRM preferred.
- Arabic language skills a plus, but not required.
