Raytheon is looking for an Associate Director, Global Industrialization to join our Global Industrialization team. We are expanding our international market opportunities to support our business and financial goals by focusing on partnerships with international customers. This involves developing local industrial capabilities in line with sovereign industrial policies and expectations. Key aspects of this strategy include:
Development of local supply chains. Establishment of military industry partnerships. Utilization of national military industry talent. Transfer of technology, Intellectual Property, tools, and processes to the global industry.
These initiatives are crucial for enhancing collaboration and ensuring that Raytheon meets the specific needs and expectations of its international partners, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company in the global Defense and Aerospace environment.
In this role, you will be aligning with a cross-functional team responsible for several strategic projects. These projects are coordinated across various Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and involve collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain (OSC), Requirements & Capabilities (R&C), Contracts, Global Trade, and Finance teams. The current pipeline of Offsets and Localization projects in the proposal phase exceeds $15 billion in obligation value, with an additional forecast of approximately $20 billion in the long-range plan.
Our highly talented team is located across the world embedded within our strategic business locations throughout the US, Europe & the Middle East North Africa (MENA).
This accompanied onsite role will be based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a long-term international assignment with additional compensation.
International travel for occasional global customer engagements greater than one week in duration across Raytheon’s global markets including MENA, Asia, and Europe.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

What You Will Do:



Manage the coordination and development of industrialization concepts and proposals, supporting negotiation of industrialization agreements, establishing strategic industrial partnering agreements, and coordinating associated global supply chain arrangements. Execute all phases of the global industrialization program lifecycle in support of those strategies and plans that enable supply chain, product and country industrialization opportunities in Raytheon’s global market including but not limited to: + Project Concept Development
+ Proposal Development
+ Contract Negotiation and Award
+ Support Program Execution
Collaborate with relevant Raytheon functions, landed companies / program teams, and existing commercial consortiums to identify, develop and mature industrial partnerships that support execution of global industrialization initiatives. Collaborate with the landed company and capture/program teams in developing relationships with local customers and industry stakeholders, as well as USG authorities, to enable delivery of our global industrialization initiatives. Interface regularly with both internal and external customers along with executive leadership. Ensure program growth, accurate forecasting, estimate at completion, and internal monthly reporting.

Qualifications You Must Have



Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Experience with proposal (Submit Gate) leadership and management, specifically creating winning Management, Cost and/or Technical Proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOEs) or Industrial Partnership Agreements & Plans (IPAs & IPPs). Experience interfacing with customers at all levels. Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Certified. Expert knowledge of the international offset and localization market with the ability to identify best practices and how to best utilize within in the company. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer



Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Experience with Patriot / GEM-T. Experience working in MENA region. Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships to sustain and grow business. Program Management Experience (P&L ownership). PM Level 4 Certification or equivalent external certification.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
