The opportunity:

To oversee the management of one of our cost consultancy teams within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supporting the director of cost and commercial, you will be responsible and accountable for technical quality, knowledge, and leadership of up to 25 surveyors.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Enhance our profile and reputation in the market.
  • Plan for annual performance and goals for your team.
  • Develop client relationships and lead project engagements.
  • Ensure team delivers based on Mace's value-driven approach.
  • Maintain accurate rate databases and conduct market research.
  • Manage resources and deliverables for your team across projects.
  • Provide leadership, engagement, and career development for your team.
  • Measure quantities for cost models, plans, estimates, and bills accurately.
  • Prepare cost models and benchmarks using digital and traditional methods, presenting effectively to clients.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience in the Middle East.
  • MRICS or relevant professional membership.
  • A degree in quantity surveying or cost management.
  • Leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams.
  • Awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts on projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
