General Summary:

The Associate Director – Contractor Management will oversee the operational and contractual performance of Operations & Maintenance service providers across all modes of public transport within Qiddiya, including buses, rail, and related transport systems. The role ensures seamless integration of services through robust contract management and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement Qiddiya’s contractor management strategy, policies, and performance frameworks.
  • Provide senior-level direction to ensure contracts drive innovation, operational efficiency, and customer experience excellence.
  • Advise the Executive Team on contractual risks, opportunities, and market engagement strategies.

Contract Performance & Compliance

  • Oversee the management of multi-million SAR O&M contracts, ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead high-level negotiations on contract variations, renewals, and dispute resolution.
  • Establish robust reporting mechanisms for contract performance and operational integration

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for contractor leadership teams, consortium partners, and public transport authorities.
  • Drive collaboration between different transport operators to optimize resource use and service delivery.
  • Represent Qiddiya in strategic engagements with government agencies, regulators, and industry bodies.

  • Contract & Commercial Management – Expert in contract administration, performance monitoring, and dispute resolution for complex, high-value agreements.
  • Negotiation & Influencing – Skilled at leading high-stakes negotiations, achieving win-win outcomes, and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Performance Management – Ability to design and implement KPI/ SLA frameworks, monitor contractor delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management – Adept at identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, contractual, and reputational risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Skilled in managing relationships with contractors, government agencies, consortium partners, and internal executives.
  • Decision-Making – Confident and decisive in complex, time-sensitive situations.
