The project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre, experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for
  • Contract Administration: Oversees the preparation and formal execution of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses.
  • Team Leadership: Manages large teams or multiple teams, promoting behaviors that drive success, meet KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Cost Control & Reporting: Leads valuation measurements to ensure cost control and enforces reporting standards.
  • Client Reporting: Directs the production and presentation of monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
  • Change & Claims Management: Proactively identifies costs related to design changes, awards, construction, and client charges; oversees evaluation of contractor claims for delays and additional costs.
  • Project Completion Oversight: Directs issuance of practical completion certificates and final account sign-offs; advises on defect resolution and final completion certification.
  • Process Improvement: Leads cost consultants in enhancing cost management procedures, templates, and services; drives continuous process improvements and transformational change.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Collaborates on net zero carbon goals, identifying and managing carbon emissions and reduction opportunities throughout project delivery.
You’ll need to have
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy, required for immigration and client approval.
  • Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Strong bidding and business development experience.
