Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Train Security Officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrol, and first aid procedures.
  2. Disseminate all information from management to team members.
  3. Conduct patrols and regular checks on all Security Officers to ensure alertness and effective duty performance.
  4. Conduct criminal investigations, prepare investigation papers, and report cases occurring within the hotel.
  5. Monitor hotel staff to ensure compliance with House Rules; track movements of staff under investigation.
  6. Manage emergency personnel traffic in response to fire, bomb threats, police assistance, injury, or illness.
  7. Inspect security equipment to ensure proper functioning and camera focus.
  8. Perform routine checks on security items such as pocket books, security desk logs, gate passes, keys, and post allocations.
  9. Develop informers to gather security-related information for prevention and detection.
  10. Maintain daily security activity records.
  11. Provide security coverage for VIP guests.
  12. Keep the Director of Security updated on all security matters affecting the hotel and department.
  13. Remain on-call, including off-duty hours, for emergencies.
Qualifications
  1. Secondary / High school education.
  2. Certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management, and Basic Fire Fighting.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  4. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
