Job description

We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Revenue professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As an Assistant Revenue Manager you are responsible to assist the Revenue Manager to capture any unexpected opportunities and implement recovery plans to counter act threats to business. Oversee the maximization of revenue through the combined efforts of the Reservations and Sales Department, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports as per company standard and communicate analysis with the management team for necessary and required revenue management decisions to ensure that targets are met
• Monitor and analyze room’s inventory, utilizing Revenue Management systems and structure to maximize occupancies and increase revenue by monitoring room group blocks, demand levels and plan restriction
• Assist Sales team with performance analysis enabling a variable and lucrative pricing proposal for re - contracting
• Understand the dynamics of the local, regional and international political and economical market and all demand generators
• Respond to all group and MICE enquiries applying selling strategies

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a degree in the hospitality field with previous experience within the Reservations / Revenue Department of a hotel. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential. Computer literacy and previous experience with Opera is highly appreciated.
