A Reservations Supervisor oversees the Reservations Team and manages routine procedures to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

What will I be doing?

As Reservations Supervisor, you will oversee the Reservations Team, ensuring routine procedures are followed to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in daily operations of the Reservations Department
  • Managing enquiries via telephone, fax, and email promptly and professionally, ensuring accuracy
  • Understanding seasonal and historical trends to optimize occupancy and rates
  • Developing new contacts, sales leads, and responding to sales opportunities
  • Producing quotations and confirmations for clients
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and resolving issues to foster repeat business
  • Developing team members, maintaining knowledge of hotel facilities and processes, and promoting high standards
  • Ensuring bookings are guaranteed, and charges for no-shows or late cancellations are applied appropriately
  • Monitoring team performance, training, and teamwork
  • Participating in recruitment, management, and development of the Reservations team
