Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in coordinating and executing infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. This involves working alongside experienced Senior Project Managers to ensure effective planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, and quality assurance, ensuring projects meet Zutari’s standards and client expectations. The role is crucial in maintaining project momentum, tracking progress, and identifying risks. This position is reserved for Saudi nationals to align with our vision of investing in local talent and meeting Saudization requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination and Planning
    • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and Zutari’s standards.
    • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams for timely delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Management
    • Support liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation.
    • Facilitate meetings, track action items, and follow up.
  • Risk and Issue Management
    • Monitor risks and escalate issues as needed.
    • Assist in mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
    • Track deviations and support realignment solutions.
  • Budget and Financial Tracking
    • Help track expenses, process invoices, and support financial reporting.
  • Quality Control and Compliance
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality standards.
    • Support audits and ensure complete, accurate documentation.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain project documents, reports, and logs.
    • Assist in preparing progress reports and presentations.
    • Track KPIs, progress, and timelines for project close-out.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within infrastructure, architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of infrastructure projects like roads, highways, utilities, urban development.
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
