Looking for an Arabic Assistant PM only with 4-5 years of experience to assist in project planning, implementation, and progress tracking of Cyber Security Infrastructure projects within Telecom Wireless Network Rollout, with a focus on LTE network deployments. An ideal candidate will have hands-on capability of project planning, coordination, scheduling and some knowledge of SIEM, Security Testing, Vulnerability and Penetration testing, Guidelines and documentations.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation for Cyber Security Infrastructure in Telecom Wireless Network Rollout.
  • Track project milestones, prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis, ensuring timely submission with detailed information.
  • Ensure cybersecurity compliance and implement risk mitigation strategies, including issue management.
  • Support procurement, budgeting, and validation of contractor invoices, ensuring project financial data aligns with the Project Control Team.
  • Maintain accurate project records and prepare reports.
  • Facilitate meetings, follow up on action items, and coordinate implementation plans with project site teams, escalating areas of misalignment or improvement.
  • Perform and supervise Cybersecurity infrastructure solutions testing (e.g., PAT) and manage handovers to customers.
  • Assist in the review, development, issuance, and evaluation of vendor contract change requests and change orders.
  • Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the development of cybersecurity and data governance processes and training materials.
  • Ensure alignment with the client s portfolio controls, governance, and objectives, achieving a 95% completion rate of the Cyber Security applications rollout by the approved schedule.
  • Define work scope and prepare overall schedules and budgets for projects of various sizes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Cyber Security plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to verify that project deliverables, controls, and organisational requirements are met.
  • Ensure as-built costs align with the overall budget.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT/telecommunications experience, including at least 3 years in a responsible position managing cybersecurity applications projects, preferably in LTE network deployments.
  • Extensive knowledge and professional experience in managing projects, project control, and coordination with clients and contractors.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of LTE-specific cybersecurity technologies, including:
  • Network Security Protocols: Proficiency in configuring and managing encryption standards like AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and IPsec for securing LTE user data and backhaul communication.
  • LTE Network Architecture: Understanding of LTE components (e.g., eNodeBs, EPC) and protocols (e.g., Diameter, GTP) to implement security controls and address vulnerabilities like signalling attacks or radio interface threats.
  • Security Testing: Experience in coordinating vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for LTE networks, using tools like Nessus or Burp Suite.
  • SIEM and Monitoring: Ability to oversee Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for real-time monitoring of LTE network security.
  • Hands-on experience in at least some areas (e.g., configuring firewalls or running vulnerability scans), with the ability to manage technical teams for deeper implementation.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP security standards (e.g., TS 33.401) to ensure compliance in LTE network rollouts.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
