Job description

Job Summary: The Assistant Pharmacist will handle and track medicines from the time they are ordered until they are delivered to the customer. The role also includes helping to keep warehouse operations accurate, safe, and in line with rules and procedures.

Accountabilities
Warehouse Checks and Support
  • Do weekly random stock checks.
  • Check one dispatched shipment every day to make sure it is correct and in good condition.
  • Check incoming shipments for signs of damage or tampering.
  • Make sure products are labelled, barcoded, and packed correctly before sending them out.
  • Monitor temperature and humidity records and report any issues.
  • Keep track of expiry dates and highlight items nearing expiry.
  • Ensure rejected, expired, or quarantined stock is stored separately.
Paperwork and Records
  • Help maintain and review work instructions and warehouse procedures.
  • Make sure all documents are complete before shipments go out.
  • Keep permits, delivery notes, and related paperwork well-organized and ready for inspection.
  • Report and record any issues or mistakes and help fix them.
  • Keep training records for staff who handle medicines.
Compliance and Safety
  • Help ensure the warehouse meets local laws and health regulations.
  • Arrange approved services like pest control or equipment calibration after getting approval.
  • Help prepare for inspections from SFDA/MOH and internal audits.
  • Take part in safety checks and risk assessments.
Delivery
  • Collect documents related to products from the warehouse.
  • Attend the delivery of the products to the various customers around KSA (government customers, Nupco) as per the Warehouse Manager’s instructions.
  • Document the delivery process and obtain an official receipt from the customer with the final Proof of Delivery (POD) form.
  • Submit a weekly report for the customer visits to the Warehouse Manager.
Skills
  • Educational background: Diploma in Pharmacy
  • Experience: Saudi National - Has a valid Pharmacist license- Has a valid KSA driving license - Willing to travel within KSA as per business needs.
