About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support and drive operational efficiency within our logistics project in Al Jouf – Sakaka. This role will assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations across warehouse, transportation, and site activities, ensuring alignment with company standards and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in logistics or fleet management, and a passion for achieving high operational performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing all logistics operations, including warehouse, dispatch, and transportation teams.
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure operational excellence and service quality.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to meet project KPIs.
  • Support the implementation and compliance of safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Track inventory, asset movement, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in training and supervising front-line staff.
  • Generate operational reports and highlight risks or improvement areas.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
  • Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Project Manager.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations supervision.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, fleet, or warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, TMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic operational needs.
  • Willingness to work in Al Jouf – Sakaka and relocate if required.
