Assistant Operations Manager – Coffee Shop

Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all branches to ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards in all outlets.
- Ensure all branches follow company SOPs for food, beverage, and customer service.
- Support store managers in managing schedules, inventory, and staffing.
2. Quality & Service Control
- Conduct regular branch visits to check coffee quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Ensure all baristas follow proper coffee preparation and calibration standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain consistency in product quality and service across all locations.
3. Staff Supervision & Training
- Supervise branch supervisors and staff to ensure adherence to policies.
- Support HR in staff training, performance evaluations, and team development.
- Motivate team members and maintain positive work culture.
- Ensure proper communication between branches and management.
4. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent wastage.
- Coordinate with the purchasing team for supplies and equipment needs.
- Review daily sales, expenses, and consumption reports to ensure cost efficiency.
- Assist in implementing cost-control and loss-prevention measures.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily and weekly operations reports for management review.
- Support the Operations Manager in implementing new strategies and initiatives.
- Coordinate between different departments (HR, Finance, Purchasing, etc.) for smooth operation.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Enforce company policies, code of conduct, and operational standards.
Skills
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in operations (F&B or coffee industry preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
