Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager of System and Technology Implementation plays a critical role in advancing supply chain efficiency and technological innovation. This role is responsible for implementing, overseeing and delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and data lake solutions that drive actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across supply chain functions. The purpose of this role is to improve decision-making processes, streamline operations, and enhance data-driven performance across the Supply Chain and Logistics department.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives and Digital Transformation
- Drive strategic initiatives to incorporate AI, data analysis, and digital automation within supply chain systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with broader organizational goals and digital transformation strategies.
Data Lake Architecture and Management
- Design, develop, and manage a scalable data lake architecture to support large volumes of structured and unstructured supply chain data.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility through collaboration with IT and data engineering teams.
- Manage data lake infrastructure to ensure availability, accessibility, and reliability for analytics and reporting.
- Implement data quality checks and monitor data lake performance, resolving issues promptly.
- Document data processes for traceability and reproducibility of analytics.
Data Pipelines and Integration
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, integration, and retrieval processes.
- Coordinate with IT and data teams to ensure accurate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
- Monitor and refine data processes to support real-time analytics and predictive insights.
AI and Machine Learning Model Development
- Lead the development of AI and ML models to improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and process optimization.
- Utilize neural networks, transformers, and deep learning frameworks to enhance data accuracy, predictive capabilities, and automation within supply chain processes.
- Build, train, and deploy ML models for supply chain challenges such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and operational optimization.
- Translate analytical needs into effective AI and ML solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.

- Create and present project updates, technical insights, and performance reports for non-technical audiences, enhancing transparency.
Governance and Compliance
- Establish data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards and implement quality control measures to maintain data integrity.
Innovation and Process Optimization
- Participate in innovation committees to test and develop AI-driven initiatives for supply chain and logistics optimization.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and technological enhancements within the supply chain ecosystem.
- Develop proof-of-concept initiatives to assess potential value before full-scale implementation.
Training and Team Development
- Provide mentorship to team members on AI, ML, and data management best practices, enhancing team capabilities.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to strengthen departmental capabilities in new technologies and analytical tools.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in data architecture, AI, machine learning, or related analytics fields, with a focus on supply chain or logistics.
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and relevant programming languages, with expertise in machine learning and predictive modeling within supply chain contexts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and proficiency in Power BI for data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development.
- Strong command of data lake architecture, data management, data storage optimization, and data governance practices.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with data integration and retrieval optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
