Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is in search of a proactive and skilled Assistant Manager - IT Security to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures that protect our IT infrastructure and data from internal and external threats.

Your expertise will be essential in monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work collaboratively with various teams to address security vulnerabilities and enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies, protocols, and standards to safeguard systems and data.
  • Monitor security alerts, assess threats, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Participate in security awareness training programs for staff and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to IT security.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and technologies to maintain effective defenses.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on IT security status and incidents.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT security, systems administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, tools, and practices.
  • Experience with security monitoring and incident response tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.
